Cliff McGrath

Cliff graduated with honors from the Holt School of Culinary Arts in May of 1976, where he honed his craft under the tutelage of Chef Henry Goldsmith. After cooking stints with Mona’s in Toluca, IL and Smiley’s in La Rose, IL, he settled in at Capponi’s in September of 1986. He and his wife Sue, live in Toluca where they raised their six children and currently tend to the demands of their Boston Terrier, Maggie.

Sue McGrath

Sue, a life long Toluca resident, came to work at Capponi’s in the summer of 1981 as a waitress. She became Hostess in 2000 and Manager in 2005. She and her husband Cliff, live in Toluca where they raised their six children and currently tend to the demands of their Boston Terrier, Maggie.
